New Jersey Governor Chris Christie teams up with social media savant and local hero, Newark Mayor Cory Booker in this new YouTube video from the governor’s office. The video pokes fun at Christie’s jealousy of Booker, who rose to fame as a local and Internet hero after saving a neighbor from a burning building last month. Throughout the video, Christie finds himself in simple scenarios where he could help others, like changing a flat tire or saving a falling baby. Booker swoops in at the last m...  show all text

The last couple of days, there's been a fair amount of blogosphere angst over Coding Horror's "Please Don't Learn to Code." Web startups are made out of two things: people and code. The people make the code, and the code makes the people rich. Code is like a poem; it has to follow certain structural requirements, and yet out of that structure can come art. But code is art that does something.
